What is Yūrei: The Curse about?It is a competitive board game inspired by Japanese folklore. Players face vengeful spirits (yūrei), ancient curses, and difficult choices as they struggle to survive a cursed night.

How long does a game last?A full game lasts between 90 and 120 minutes, depending on the number of players (roughly 30 minutes of gameplay per player).

What mechanics does the game have?It combines exploration, storytelling, decision-making, random events, and card-based conflict resolution. Each game is unique.

What kinds of components does the game include?Inside the core box, you'll find highly detailed miniatures, beautifully illustrated cards, modular boards, and thematic tokens. Select pledge levels during the campaign may also offer exclusive content.

What will be the retail price of the game after the campaign?After the crowdfunding campaign, the price of the core box and add-ons will increase. Backers will benefit from a lower price during the campaign period, plus free unlocked items.

Is the game available in English, Spanish, and other languages? What languages will it be offered in?The game will be produced in English, but the rulebook will also be available for download in Spanish. Depending on the campaign’s success and the funding reached, we may consider producing additional editions with translations into other languages. This will only be possible if we achieve sufficient support to justify multiple print runs in different languages.
